The Lizardz is a garage-punk band that appeared in early 2007. The band consists of Panos Kapidis (Mellor) on vocals and guitar, Kostas Giziotes (Gizone) on guitar, Spiros Avgeropoulos on bass and Stelios Santas (The Crasher) on drums. Panos Mellor and Spiros Avgeropoulos were the members that started forming the band in 2006 originally called "White Riot" as the track title of Clash in honor of them and Joe Strummer. A year later when Crasher came to the band, they changed their name to "The Lizardz". Shortly afterwards another member was added to the band (Retro Rambler) in guitar, but was replaced due to personal reasons by Gizone and this the line up so far. Their crowning moment as far was the opening of the Standells concert in Gagarin, June 2010.
